Migration to Next.js

Replatform to Next.js — carefully, and in stages. We migrate existing React applications and WordPress websites to Next.js with an audit first, a redirect plan for every important URL, and staged releases instead of one risky cutover.

Migration to Next.js

What this engagement is for

A migration fails when it is treated as a redesign with new URLs. We start by inventorying your current pages, traffic, and integrations, keep or redirect every URL that matters, and move in slices — often starting with the pages where server rendering helps most — so search visibility and leads are protected throughout.

Best for
Businesses whose WordPress site is slow or hard to extend, or whose React app needs server rendering and better search visibility.
Typical timeline
4–10 weeks depending on page count and integrations

Outcomes

What you leave with

We measure the work by the product decisions and assets you can use next — not by a slide deck.

01

A URL and redirect map covering every indexed page

02

Server-rendered pages for the content search engines must read

03

Forms, analytics, and integrations reconnected and tested

04

A staged launch with rollback options at each step

How we work

A short path from conversation to something real.

  1. 1

    Audit first

We list what exists, what earns traffic, and what can be retired — before any code moves.

  2. 2

    Migrate in slices

Templates and pages move in order of value, with redirects tested as we go.

  3. 3

    Launch and watch

We monitor errors, speed, and search signals after launch and fix issues quickly.

Deliverables

What we produce

  • Pre-migration audit: URLs, traffic, content, integrations
  • Next.js rebuild of agreed templates and pages
  • Redirect, canonical, and sitemap implementation
  • Post-launch checks for 404s, speed, and indexation signals

Questions

Before you start

No migration can guarantee rankings, but most losses come from changed URLs and missing redirects. We map every important URL, keep content equivalent, and verify redirects before and after launch.

Usually not everything at once. Keeping design close to the original during migration makes it easier to spot what caused any change; redesign can follow in a second phase.

Content is exported and rebuilt in the new templates; forms are reconnected to the same destination (CRM, email, or database) and tested end to end.

Access to the current site, analytics and Search Console if available, hosting details, and a list of integrations that must keep working.
